The Beginning of an Amazing Journey

This is the beginning of an amazing journey for your baby! In addition to lots of cuddling and love, we will guide them through all of their milestones and help them develop a lifelong love for learning.

At Life Long Learners, we believe that play is the foundation of early development. Our infant and toddler programs focus on exploration and discovery through the five senses helping little ones gain knowledge in a natural, joyful way.

We also introduce basic sign language, books, and music to support vocabulary growth and communication. Every day is filled with opportunities to imagine, explore, and grow!

Communication with parents is at the heart of everything we do. Through our parent app, Brightwheel, you’ll receive updates throughout the day complete with photos, videos, and notes about your child’s routines. You’ll always know what your little one is eating, how they’re sleeping, when diapers are changed, and even what songs they’re dancing to!

Together, we’ll make these first years full of laughter, learning, and love. 💛

Toddlers (15-24 months)

The toddlers are beginning to learn how to participate in organized group activities such as music, story time, arts and crafts, etc.

At our child center, we learn through purposeful play and the children enjoy hands on activities. We love to get messy!

Here is a small glimpse of the fun stuff we do to assure your children are reaching their developmental goals:

  • Activities that require taking turns

  • Lots of dramatic play

  • Books to increase vocabulary

  • Music to develop large muscle control

  • Focus on social emotional skills

Two Year Olds

We are a play-based daycare center and we use all five senses on all our learning. The activities we provide are so fun and engaging they kids don’t even know they are working hard! Your child is working hard to become a good friend and understand behaviors in different social situations. We are here to support them in finding who they are and where they are going.

In this classroom, the days are more structured than in the toddler program, helping children gradually prepare for the Preschool environment. A major focus at this stage is potty training an important life skill that supports independence and confidence. Our teachers are experienced in guiding children through this process and partnering closely with families every step of the way.

Teachers also work with children on developing essential early skills, including fine motor development such as holding crayons and pencils, using scissors, and practicing the basics of letters and numbers.

Preschool (3-4 years) & Pre-Kinder (4-5years)

We are a play based, Reggio inspired preschool. We believe play is a child’s work. We like to include all 5 senses in our learning while also including natural and loose parts and bring much our learning out into our outdoor classroom. We focus on academic skills needed to thrive in the school systems, as well as social emotional skills. Your child will not only enter Kindergarten at the top of their class academically, they will also be a kind, understanding and empathetic friend. We focus on enhancing your child’s confidence and independence by providing activities to help them become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Preschool classroom jobs introduce the concepts of responsibility and dependability to your child.
